WE ARE RAISING FUNDS FOR BLOOD CANCER THIS CHRISTMAS!

Cannock Shopping Centre has teamed up with Worcester-based charity Leukaemia Care for this year’s Christmas partnership.

Leukaemia Care, a national charity whose headquarters are in Worcester, provide support for all those affected by a diagnosis of blood cancer.

From November until the beginning of January, shoppers will be able to support the charity by getting involved in a range of festive activities. These will include Santa’s grotto, a treasure hunt, present wrapping service, Christmas carolling and a Christmas tree where shoppers can hang decorative tags in memory of loved ones.

Susi McCarthy, Centre Manager at Cannock Shopping Centre, said, “We are really excited to be working with Leukaemia Care over the next few months. We have helped organise lots of exciting activity during their partnership over the festive period – keep your eyes peeled in the centre to find out more!”

Nicole Scully, Communications and Fundraising manager at Leukaemia Care, said, “We’re very much looking forward to this festive partnership with Cannock Shopping Centre. We’re hoping our planned activities will not only allow us to keep supporting blood cancer patients, but also raise awareness of blood cancer amongst the local community.”

The partnership will officially begin on Friday 16th November with the Cannock Christmas lights switch-on. Shoppers should then keep their eyes peeled for more activities on Saturday’s throughout November and December.
