Valentine’s shopping inspiration

Where did January go? We’re now in February and Valentine’s Day is almost upon us – so make sure you don’t forget 14 February!  Whether you’re looking for some beautiful gifts, a simple card or the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit for yourself, a trip to Cannock Shopping Centre can sort out all your Valentine’s Day dilemmas.

Cards and gifts to brighten someone’s day

First stop must be to pick up a Valentine’s card from the Card Stop.  They have a great selection of different cards to suit all tastes and budget.  They also stock some great Helium Valentine’s Balloons, which are lovely add-on items that always make people smile.

Then, on to gifts.  Looking for their favourite perfume or aftershave?  Bodycare have a great selection of the latest fragrances, all at the best prices.  You’ll also be able to pick up other treats for your loved one whilst there – from bath bubbles to relaxing face masks – to create some pamper time and make them feel really special.

Thinking of popping the question, or want to buy some new jewellery?  Chatwin Jewellers is our favourite place to go.  From engagement rings and necklaces to watches and gifts –the perfect extra special gift is waiting for you.

If you want to make something unique and special, then why not get crafting.  The Works have lots of craft kits available.  Or, if you head into our indoor market area, you’ll find Stitch & Knit Haberdashery and G A Fabrics – where you’ll be able to pick up wool, fabrics, buttons and more.  A handmade gift can mean so much more – as your loved one will appreciate the extra effort you have made to create something just for them!

Get yourself all dressed up and ready for Valentine’s Day

Once you have all your gifts and treats sorted, it’s time to think about you – what to wear for that special day.  You could stop off at big brands New Look, Select Fashion or JD Sports for the perfect outfit or if you want to support independent stores then Trendy Tanya, SNAP or some of the stalls in the Market Hall area of the centre have some great outfit choices too.  Alternatively, if you want a more sustainable option then we also have YMCA and Mind Charity shops.

Why not also treat yourself to a hair cut from our Barber or Hairdresser?  You can even stop off and get your nails done at U1st Nails and treat yourself to some new makeup from Kiss & Makeup.

Then, after a hard day’s shopping, head to Costa Coffee for a coffee and treat before heading home – you deserve it!
